Step into the wild with the 2021 County Line Syrah Sonoma Coast. A deep, mesmerizing violet color extends to the nose, joining dark fruited bramble notes of blackberry jam. Flavorsome hints of black pepper, mixed olives, wild mushrooms, and cured game fill this cool-climate Syrah with woodsy character. Each satiating sip grips the palate with tingling acidity and smooth, muscular tannins. This cozy wine has warm notes well-suited for pairing with a traditional duck confit or enjoyed alongside spicy mushroom moussaka.

Generally a timid creature, the bobcat is often spotted at dusk and dawn, tracking small prey around the farm. This quiet carnivore is drawn to our cover crops where she can hunt for invasive pests including gophers, rats, and insects. Her expedition prowl, led by a pair of slinky haunches and followed by a white stubbed tail, begins in the vineyard before touring the chicken coop and circling the goat pen. A natural predator, the bobcat continuously teaches us the nuances of animal husbandry and protection.
